Queensland Rail; Design, Manufacture, Supply, Assembly, Testing And Delivery Of Communications Equipment and CCTV Equipment For QR Citytrain Passenger Vehicles (EMU,SMU and IMU trains)

COMRAIL designed and manufactured Crew & Passenger Communication System as a replacement for other manufacturers existing equipment. The new designed Equipment was fully customized to allow a one to one swap out of existing equipment, without the need to change both existing wiring or connectors.
The Comrail equipment seamlessly interfaced to the existing system to provide a reliable communications between the Driver, onboard staff and passengers.
External to the contract, Comrail also designed and supplied Video Distribution Amplifiers and Video Switching units.

Queensland Rail "Rockhampton Tilt Train"; Design, Manufacture, Supply and Installation of a Communication Systems and PA System with automated Train announcements.
COMRAIL supplied Crew Communication and PA System as a replacement for the existing equipment. Equipment customized to the point that no extra wiring and cabling needed during the installation.
The automated announcement system allowed GPS triggered messages to be played without any input from the driver. The Driver or staff can also manually select and play audio messages over the PA system from any Call Station.

COMRAIL designed & manufactured the Public Address Mixer Amplifiers for the Yarra B-Class trams.
The amplifiers were designed to be 100% compatible with existing equipment, which allowed existing connectors and cables to plug into the new amplifier without any need for modifications.

COMRAIL designed & manufactured Single USB Charge Units for the Queensland Rail trains. These units were designed for harsh and demanding environments.
The customised design allowed the Charging Units to fit into tight locations located within the passenger seat arm rest. The design also allowed for quick simple installation.
